About me
Since almost 20 years I’ve got a strong interest in the more beautiful things of life which are preferably handmade or at least made out of good materials. Interests started to come up like watches, clothing, cars, art, porcelain, antiques, jewellery, silverware, traveling, books, gourmet food and the latest addition to my set of interests are probably cigars..
My passions and interests directed me to a career in one of the fields which was men’s clothing.
I’ve been representing and still represent very fine menswear manufacturers who produce only in European countries like Italy, Germany, Austria or the UK. I’ve done and still do various consulting projects for the same type of manufacturers, shops, brands etc. and since 3 years I’m also writing about my passions and interests.
I’ve written in various lifestyle magazines from the Netherlands, Switzerland, Poland and Italy. My first article was in Italy’s men’s style magazine Arbiter. Beside the work for magazines I do content work for websites as well and of course write articles on this website every now and then.
On this website you’ll be finding articles about fine manufacturers, artisans, interesting characters and just about topics that are related to fine living.
Beside my passions and interests for subjects in the fine life corner I also have a deep interest in Royal Families, Germany and Austria, political history and the city Vienna. The city Vienna, in Austria, is my favourite city on earth and I’ve written a lot about craftsmen there. But everything in the city is fascinating me from the coffee houses to the museums, from the craftsmen to the hotels.
